The nose is softly full, with a smoky nuance, unfolding earth, herb underlying dark fruit. Light-bodied, black cherry and blackberry melded with thyme, black pepper and nutmeg. Supple tannins provide a smooth mouthfeel, guided by lively, ripe acidity. The fruit is clean with balanced ripeness and lingers to a moderately long finish. This dark-fruited Pinot Noir possesses aromas of thyme, spice, and a clean and smooth palate. Match with antipasto and pork over the next 2-3 years. 14% alc.
